SHUGAVANILLA is an electrifying vocalist and global performer whose musical journey spans continents and genres. With deep roots in R&B and a newfound passion for Afrobeats and Reggae, her voice blends soul, power, and culture in every note.

A former Universal Records artist, SHUGAVANILLA has toured with music legends including Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, Puff Daddy, and Biggie Smalls. She’s graced American late-night TV, starred in major commercials for Lincoln and McDonald’s, and performed the U.S. National Anthem for crowds of over 60,000 at Detroit Tigers Stadium.

Now an independent solo artist, SHUGAVANILLA has reactivated her music career and is building her legacy through her label, Marnell Records, LLC. Her international travels have inspired a strong connection to African music, and she’s currently working on Afrobeats and Reggae cover versions of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” and Bob Marley’s “Waiting In Vain.”
